It all started with customers requesting food delivery to Saaristokaupunki. Moments later, a food truck converted from a 1967 Dodge pulled into the parking lot of the S-market in Keilankanta, serving up Amarillo’s juicy hamburgers made with ingredients from local producers.

The journey from idea to reality was exceptionally quick. Since no similar food truck had ever been operated at Amarillo in Kuopio before, the concept, the vehicle, and the equipment were all new.

“We were wondering where we could quickly get a point-of-sale system on the fly. A colleague told us, ‘From Confirma, of course,’ says Sanna Tikkanen , restaurant manager at Amarillo in Kuopio.”

Tikkanen is particularly pleased with the collaboration with Confirma, as the process has been fast and easy for the customer. The Jeemly point-of-sale system leased from Confirma is well-suited for seasonal sales, as it does not require a commitment to long-term contracts.

“The cash register was delivered quickly right to where we needed it, and we were able to specify exactly which features we needed,” Tikkanen says.

– I never would have believed that everything would go so well on such a tight schedule. The pop-up restaurant has received nothing but positive feedback from both customers and employees: the food has been delicious, the cash registers have worked flawlessly, and the service has been excellent.
